An expense management system does all this for you.What didn't go wrong with this company.Setup was a complete mess, they removed our old pos system without being able to connect us to their own hardware leaving us scrambling. We used the POS System for maybe 3 weeks when one morning we woke up to an email saying " sorry we will no longer allow you to process payments, we can't give you any more information." Leaving us without a POS system out of the blue! I reached out to our rep who completely stopped answering after telling me "I'll get back to you ASAP". I contacted general customer service and they said someone would get back to me within 48 hours and no one ever did. In addition to leaving us high and dry with no POS, the system itself is not cohesive with a full service restaurant. Can't split cash tips and credit tips so you can't pay your staff their cash that night, terrible reporting, and clearly, horrific customer service. Maybe it was blessing they cut us off but it would have been nice to have some warning, explanation, or any communication whatsoever. I was a new seller with Square until they stole my money I will never recommend this company to anyone.
If I could give them a negative I would.I was a new seller with Square. I went through the entire verification process, everything was smooth. BAM! My account was put "under review' to verify my identity. I sent a picture of MYSELF and both the front and back of my government ID and then I get a notice that they deactivated my account. SERIOUSLY? I called customer 'support' (what a joke!) and they would not tell me anything. They kept repeating 'you need to respond to the email that the review team sent' ITS A NO-REPLY EMAIL ADDRESS!!!!!! Its been a week now and I STILL cannot access the money from my sale.
Ive had NO OTHER CONTACT from anyone on their side.
